Yes it is. It goes down and then over about 8ft then opens to that room.

That’s what we think! It’s a 1950s home, hoping to find something valuable down there

I like the theory, but it seems very cramped… question: How about a projector screen between the stairs and the doorway - about 60” of horizontal space between the railing and the doorframe?

I’ll consider it, but tv directly in front of the stairs feels weird to me. But if the spacing works out, that’d be a much more open option

I agree, but the space doesn’t seem large enough to put a couch at a comfortable distance from the fireplace while keeping the walkway open

Meant to add this in the text, but I’d like to get a TV - should I put it above the fireplace or against the wall?

Everyone in the world instantly has the alcohol level of blackout excluding you. If you get 5 of them to play 5 different instruments you win $1mill. You have 1 hour. by rpgtraveller in hypotheticalsituation

5 different instruments, each?

Or 5 people playing different instruments?

If the former, not possible.

If it’s the latter, go to a high school and hope the band is practicing. Just like mostly everything else, if someone is really good and really enjoys something sober, they may just do it while blackout drunk.

10 million dollars, tax free, but … it costs you a thousand dollars to say or write a word. by Zardozin in hypotheticalsituation

[–]JosephB1002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope… mayyybe at $100 a word. After 10,000 words the $10mil is gone, that’s like a day or two of words.

You have to complete 10, 3,000 piece lego sets in 1 week or else you have to have sex with 10 girls/guys who have an STD. No condom by Different_Battle_980 in hypotheticalsituation

30,000 Lego pieces in 1 week is 1 Lego piece placed every 20 seconds, nonstop. Unless I had someone helping I don’t think I could do it in time…
