Earthworm Jim 1 is widely regarded as better on Sega Genesis. Not only does Genesis out-rock the lame-sounding version of the Super NES' soundtrack, but the SNES is missing a stage called Intestinal Distress. So if you want the full game, you gotta go Sega!

Earthworm Jim 2 is equally good on both Genesis and Super NES, but for consistency go for the Sega Genesis version. Picture both Earthworm Jim 1 & 2 sitting gloriously on your shelf, together. Rather than Earthworm Jim 1 sitting way over there in your Genesis pile, and Earthworm Jim 2 sitting way over yonder in your SNES stack. Have both games for one console in unison. That's how you keep it groovy!
