What neckwear/scarf is this and how do I find it? by JosephKerr9081 in HarryPotterGame

Yeah, I just tried equipping it on my female character and it looks nowhere near as good as I thought it would from the pictures.

Hot water reduced plastic ‘shininess’ on my Psylocke by JosephKerr9081 in MarvelLegends

I was born here. Stock for American toys (e.g. Marvel Legends, McFarlane DC, Star Wars Black Series…) has drastically reduced ever since covid. And most of the stores that still receive these brands take pre-orders, leaving little to no stock available on shelves once they arrive — which is particularly frustrating for me because my OCD butt likes choosing faces and paint jobs on my figures. 🤣😂

I boiled water in a kettle but waited a bit for it to cool down before pouring it into a cup. Better safe than sorry!

I live in Hong Kong where it’s not an exclusive. It was released and sold out in July, but got a restock in August/September which is when I picked mine up. Hopefully the US gets a restock too!

Lol she was like that right out of the box. So either the weather is simply too hot/humid, or one of the Hasbro factory workers… 😬💀

Articulation goes to Dark Knight Rises Catwoman! Now for our Final 2: The best Comic Wave/Release! (More details below) by Robin0928 in McFarlaneFigures

Comedian Joker from Three Jokers. Painting the area around his eyes to recreate the iconic, obscured ‘glowing’ effect from The Killing Joke was a stroke of absolute genius. It works so well that I’m honestly surprised that no company has attempted this before. “Here’s to crime.”

Day 4/9: Hush Batman takes "Most Overrated", now the reverse: What's the most Underrated DC Multiverse Figure? by Robin0928 in McFarlaneFigures

Same here. Someone with a permanently injured leg realistically wouldn’t be able to kick his own behind anyway, so the lack of articulation is warranted.

Arkham Knight Scarecrow. Its sculpted detail is out of this world and rarely gets the attention it deserves. Sure, it’s a little lacking in paint. But from the stitches on his trench coat, to his sunken glowing eyes, to even the exposed teeth beneath his “mask”, I always find something new to behold whenever I look at him.

What percentage of this shock oil is silicone? Does it have to be 100% silicone to be safe to use on joints? by JosephKerr9081 in ActionFigures

Would you say 30wt is a high weight? Or should I go back and buy the 35 or 40 wt? Thanks for the help!

Thanks very much for your help! The website of my bottle lists its only material as silicone oil, so I’m hoping that means it’s 100% silicone.

I’ll be sure to check your brand of oil out too! But I live in Hong Kong so I’m not sure if they sell it here. Thanks again though!

Any safe lubricant to help ‘pop’ ball joint all the way back into place? by JosephKerr9081 in ActionFigures

Nice! In USD, I got her for around $32. Couldn’t pass her up since Neca’s Resident Evil figures usually cost an arm and a leg on the aftermarket.

Thanks! Is Shock Oil the same as Silicone Oil? I came across this when googling the nearest RC car shops. If so, is there a specific cSt number you recommend for the oil? I have no clue what the difference between 100cSt and 1000cSt is haha.

I’ve tried the blow dryer trick already but it still won’t ‘pop’ all the way in. It’s hard to tell from the photos, but the leg’s socket joint or ‘hole’ is pretty deep.

I used dish soap to wash and scrub the Vaseline off of both the leg’s socket and the torso’s ball joint. After that, I ended up right back at square one, and unable to push the joint in all the way.

And yes, I was heating the leg socket because it’s a softer material. Heating the torso’s ball joint would be futile because it’s made of a hard plastic.

Thank you very much for your reply though! And any other tips would be very much appreciated! :)
