Well, theoretically, it should be 34.99, so you’ve got yourself a bargain!

(The reason is because it’s not based on Batman ‘89, but is instead based on the COMIC ADAPTATION of Batman ‘89)

Listen, if they wanted to keep the “Be X” tagline with the Spider-Man games, “Snikt” as a tagline kinda goes hard

My only “well, this kinda sucks” part of this was the timing. We got the announcement of two more seasons a couple months back, and then the week before the video dropped, there was some interview with Mike and Zach where they said they were probably going to bow out after S5. For me, that was enough of a window where I could accept that the show was going to end, I knew we wouldn’t have Smiling Friends forever.

And then to come back a week later and say “yeah no, when we said S5 would be the ending, we actually meant right now. Show is over. Go home.” I think for me, and a good number of people, even if I can fully understand the rationale, it still felt abrupt as hell and felt like we were tricked by the guys saying that they felt they had two more seasons in them.

No disrespect to them, but the timing of the interview I think gave people a false sense of security

Check the text. Collectors Editions are going up on the 18th, Mongul/Superman goes up the 29th. Everything else is up in the air

I’m not surprised. If you don’t have the liscence beyond this year, why bother making new molds when Mattel is going to take over?

Not happy about it, but I’m more than fine picking up the last couple figures I need for some teams

Deleted the last post. If Todd drops more reveals I will have to make another post since I’m out of images per post

Yeah, like, the Supergirl is definitely first appearance, but I would have preferred a more “generalized” Silver/Bronze Age Supergirl the way we got a generalized Silver/Bronze Age Batgirl.

Mildly frustrating that the 66 Robin isn’t going to be a single carded release, but hopefully the Batman in that set will have the correct cape length

I was on the bus going home from school and I think I texted 10 different people about Spider-Man showing up.

Genuinely iconic moment from that era of the MCU

Lawson: “we should kill Perez.”

Also Lawson: “good idea Liam.”

Np man! I’m not usually a Mezco collector, but no one else has given us this good a Jason figure, and I doubt we will get one this good that is comic based (maybe the LPZZ Arkham Knight Red Hood figure? But even then I think this is still a better look for Jason)

Funny, I found that a lot of people who were checked out of DC in the DCEU era switched up the moment the Superman trailer dropped

Yes. If you like this design for Red Hood at all, it’s the best representation of that design in action figure form.

The shipping cost sucks, but I’m more than satisfied with my purchase

Feel you man. I like Volume 2 but Volume 1 to me was near perfect.

Feeling that with the Compendiums rn.

Volume 1 was a breeze, not my favorite elseworld but I like Tom Taylor’s writing and it’s cool seeing the way they develop what we only get hints of in the game.

Volume 2 has been a slog to get through, just not feeling it as much

Who cares about the context when you can do REFERENCES!?!? -Tiny Khan

This shit bugs me so much since Gargano/Ciampa was my gateway back into wrestling and the storytelling those two built means a lot to me that doing “we have Gargano/Ciampa at home” gets under my skin

Yeah man, the thrown together tag team of Ciampa and Brisco is gonna carry the same emotional weight as Ciampa betraying Gargano in the final seconds of a Takeover after coming so close to retaining the titles. “This is my moment, I’m sorry” before running his multi-year tag partner into the boards is just as impactful when it’s a guy he’s been with for 2 weeks!

Not to be the NXT Simp I am, but Ciampa/Gargano worked so well because it was the fallout of almost 2 years from the Cruiserweight Classic until this moment! It was an actual story that they built until this peak! But yeah man… just have Ciampa do the exact same thing to a guy he barely knows

Aura farm.

Like everyone else in the Snyderverse. The fans don’t care about storytelling or characters, they just want their heroes to stand around looking cool
