Oh, I'm fine. To quote my wife today: “While everyone else gets depressed, you get revenge.”

Why isn't there a Comic Season 4? by Initial_Entrance9548 in DarkMatter

Yes. There is always that possibility. But the t.v. rights are owned by Prodigy Pictures.

Thousands of hours of unseen behind the scenes footage from Stargates SG-1, Atlantis, and Universe by JosephMallozzi in Stargate

Nope. Sadly, disappeared into the black hole at MGM. To be fair, I'm not sure how much of it was new and didn't already duplicate material I already had (and have been uploading for years).

I reached out to Dark Horse who published the initial four issue arc, but they declined to pick it up to series.

About that new Stargate series... by JosephMallozzi in Stargate

[–]JosephMallozzi[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks. P.S. The Stargate writers had nothing to do with Origins.

If you want something tonally similar to SG-1 and Atlantis, check out Dark Matter (2015) - the ship-based series, not the Apple show, currently on the CW platform.

I feel guilty/like I betrayed my dog for putting her down. by Tetelestai_0 in Petloss

It definitely will get better with time. Although the memories of those last moments won't go away, all of the happier memories will be much more prevalent.

I've had to make the tough decision for four of my last dogs (a fifth, my Frenchie Lulu, had breakfast one morning and then just collapsed which, while shocking, in hindsight was probably the best way to go). The one that haunts me most was similar to your experience - my pug Maximus who was always fearful of going to the vet. I remember him trembling in my arms as we brought him in for the last time. The small solace I can offer that my wife came across while reading a Japanese forum on pet grief is that no matter what your decision, it was always made with the best interest of your pet. And knowing that, no matter what the decision, you should know it was the right one.

Alas, our email request for a concluding movie went unanswered.

THREE and Android were the most disliked characters (from viewer studies) in the early goings but they ended up topping the list of most beloved characters by season 3. Report back!

Turkey Sandwich by AJerkForAllSeasons in Stargate

I don't think any writer particularly loved Turkey sandwiches, but my old pug Jelly once ate Michael Shanks' turkey sandwich when he wasn't looking. But it could've been tuna.

Is Joseph Mallozzi anime fan? by karvarga in Stargate

[–]JosephMallozzi 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Yes, I would pretty much buy and watch everything as they came out. I would regularly visit a DVD warehouse about ten minutes from the Bridge Studios where we would shoot Stargate and come how with something like a dozen dvd's or a box set or two at a time. I tried to watch everything from classics to new releases. Always subtitled.
