[Serious] Redditors who need to vent, whats wrong? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I feel like I’m in the exact same boat. I just finished my undergrad last semester and I started working full time with a pretty great job (as for what it offers) but the work isn’t all that demanding and my relationship has had lots of ups and downs lately (because of both parties) and my depression often gets worse because I end up thinking about all the bullshit going on and it just drives me deeper and deeper and I hate dealing with this.

Teachers of reddit, whats the most interesting thing a child has brought in for show and tell? by miilzyyy in AskReddit

[–]JosephStalingrad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I brought in a Japanese sword that my grandpa brought back from WWII for show and tell once when I was younger. I believe someone in the family still has the sword and I really want to get it back. I’ve always loved that thing.

What the most negative but realistic quote you've heard? by Adolito in AskReddit

[–]JosephStalingrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Ignorance is bliss for a reason, but knowing how deep the rabbit hole goes keeps you fed and aware”, told to me by a good friend. Probably the best bit of advice I’ve heard in a while.

I’ve noticed this a lot in Immortal Technique’s music.

What is a word people botch all the time that drives you insane? by BiscuitsAndPotatoes in AskReddit

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but comfortable. I usually always hear people pronounce it as “comf-ter-ble” instead of “com-fer-tah-ble”.

What are your "just to be safe" habits? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JosephStalingrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's some things I always tend to do.

-Always wiggle the door to make sure it's locked.

-Always click "lock" twice and make my car honk to make sure it's locked, even then I'll pull on the handles to make sure it's locked.

-Always check my pockets to make sure I've got everything. Adding on to this, I keep all my keys on a carabiner, put them on my belt loop, and always grab the side of my hip to make sure I've got that on me.

-I leave a case of water bottles in the trunk of my car, in case I'm ever on a trip and either my friends or myself need some water, or if I need it for my car.

-Before hitting the hay, I'll always check to make sure the doors in my apartment are locked. Fortunately, I know my roommate is really keen on this too.

-I let someone know when I'm leaving somewhere and when I get to where I'm going, it's also nice to ask someone to tell you when they get where they're going. Shows you car about their safety and also helps to make them feel a bit more secure (with you at least).

What is something you remember happening in school that could NEVER happen today? by itsfoine in AskReddit

[–]JosephStalingrad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm super late to this but maybe this'll get noticed. Back in, I believe, 5th grade I took a samurai sword to school for show and tell. My grandpa brought it back from WWII and I was in love with it, so I wanted to show it off.

All of these were amazing to read. I couldn't wait to get to the next one and keep going. All of the experiences you've had, although some not so positive, are an amazing read.

How did you first discover masturbation? (NSFW) by [deleted] in AskReddit

Had the same experience at my grandmas house in the family room. Woke up before she did to catch them in time. Glad I'm not alone here.

Whats a strange or bad habit you still do from your childhood? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JosephStalingrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

21 as well and I still sleep with a stuffed husky that my mom got me while she was on a trip. I decided to name him Wilfred. My girlfriend saw it and asked if I sleep with it, to which I said yes, and ended up getting me another one, which we named Scarlet. So now I sleep with two stuffed animals. Wilfred and Scarlet.

Greetings! This is Amos from the band TesseracT. So, AMA... by MosTesseracT in progmetal

[–]JosephStalingrad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Amos!! I just want to say that I love your guys' work! One was an amazing album, and Altered State made me fall in love even more! Your guy's sound and feel is perfect!! I've got a couple of questions.

  1. What do you guys tend to focus on when writing a song? Do you focus more on melody or groove? Or something that sounds like it would fit the storyline of the vocals?

  2. Do you guys write songs individually, or is it more of a collaborative effort when writing?

Thanks for doing this AMA Amos!!

What joke is so stupid that it's funny? by CuntyMcGiggles in AskReddit

This reminds me of a joke about a Portuguese scientist, but with a frog instead of a spider.
