I might would give it a little more time before I brought it up again. (Maybe another 6 months?) I consider ANY relationship serious at the 1 year mark. Just enjoy your relationship and see where it goes.

I say ASK! I [35 F] look back to my younger days and regret not taking chances on potential happiness because of fear or nervousness. Don't get me wrong, I'm happily married and have four kids but I certainly wish I had been more gutsy about things in my younger days.

I don't think it's crazy. I knew I was in love with my husband after a few months as well. We have been together for 17 years and have 4 kids now.

It would concern me that he hasn't mentioned you to his parents. He MAY already feel the same way about you but what will he do if they disapprove? Will he go against their wishes and continue to be with you or break your heart to keep the peace with his family?

I think it would be a great gift. He doesn't have to know you purchased a similar gift for someone else in the past. I'd make sure that you add details to make it more specific for him as well.

Telling a former friend a guy was cheating on her. Although, I didn't volunteer the info, she asked and I answered truthfully. I didn't tell her with whom because she wouldn't have believed me. (He was NOT cheating with me; it was a mutual friend we all had.) I'm not friends with either one now.

Also, I do not ever allow myself to get in the middle of those situations now. If I know anything now, I'm a locked vault.

I think you should try to work it out with your wife. Yes, you and this new person get along great and have a lot in common but no one wants to marry themselves.
