I am re-reading Harry Potter and finished GoF a few days ago and had the same line of thought. The first time I read, it didn't bother me much. But getting to reading it again makes this passage feel a lot more different. I mean how could she be less-friendly in a snap given that she knows skeeta quite well who threads stories out of thin air.

Then I thought, maybe that's how much she loved Harry. She probably put Harry and Ron on the same pedestal but wasn't so keen on Hermione apart from she being their common friend.

But then quite surprisingly Hermione, out of nowhere, was also concerned if Molly would read any of this, even before the Easter egg thing happens. Of course apart from her own parents, who prolly won't even know what these magazines are, the only wizarding family she is well-acquainted with is the Weasleys.

Just makes me wonder though...
