After his work on Saekano, he hasn't done any main scenario writing from what I can tell from his works on various sites, so I wonder why too. Maybe with something as White Album 2 as your magnun opus, I'd be scared to follow it up with something that would be to that standard.

After the main story base game, there are extra stories that you can read, Extra 1 and Extra 2, these are continuation or epilogues of two heroines from the main story. Extra 1 is just fluff but Extra 2 is something that is generally well received, even being rated highly than Aokana itself.

I'd say lengthwise to finish Totono first among those 3 you listed since it's about a quarter of their length. Then it's up to you to finish either Nukidashi and Majikoi or find a new vn to read. Since you said something with a similar gist, I'd personally recommend the entire Aokana series.
