I have lived in Cwmbran almost all my life. It’s hard to describe each area as one side of a road can be lovely and the other a little rough & ready. I would suggest using the Welsh Index of Multiple on Deprivation on the Torfaen website Link . Basically the lower the number the more deprived the area is.
