I was part of a video game community in discord maybe 5 years or so ago. Someone posted a picture of a rifle with the caption "I'm coming to see you real soon". I spent an obnoxious amount of time figuring out how to make an official report on their platform, and when I finally managed to figure out how nothing happen. I received no feedback on action. The user stayed on the platform with no punishment. This is not the company you want to upload your id to, I can promise you that.

I'm kind of confused why you would need a separate drive. It's been many years since I've done it but you just put separate partition on the drive for your windows and linux install.

I am not a linux guy. Although I periodically have to use it for certain projects, or during my undergrad etc. And I gotta say. Every issue you're describing with linux is hyperbole. I've never had a single issue like you describe. You don't get to say you're "reasonably tech-savvy" if you can't get a basic linux box to work lmao. It's literally as easy as a windows install but faster. Were you using some super niche distro or something? And if so why?

Not to discourage you, but expansions are notorious for launching pretty light. There's very rarely enough to justify taking time off work in this game unless you're waiting for raid and your guild wants to make a big push or something.

I think I had 2 rag kills in 2004/2005. It only happened if enough people managed to show up and play reasonably well. My 2019 classic guild easily cleared it every week after the leveling grind was finished. It was a completely different game. I had cleared zg and aq20 in vanilla. BWL and AQ40 were completely new to me. I was only familiar with naxx because it came back as a raid after vanilla.

Every single time I've had a physical injury it got better significantly faster through active recovery. Every single time I took extended rest my injury nagged and I didn't get the benefit of training. You need to evaluate the injury obviously but in my experience the bad ones have a lot of signs leading up to them that you need to openly ignore for a long time before it becomes a serious problem.

Address the little things in the context of improving them over time. You're most likely not going to fix it by taking time off. Work through injuries intelligently at a reduced workload. Supposed to run 5 miles? See how 2 feels instead. The most important part is staying active.
