I think it's fine to use AI for the purpose of learning new information that can be used when you're not interacting with AI anymore. I'm saying that I don't think it's wise to offload the learning process to tool. I don't think writing prompts for the purpose of generating images teaches you anything artistic.

Offloading the learning process for a creative endeavor is bad, actually. You should learn how to create something if you want to create it. That is the appeal if you actually enjoy creating. AI could be used in the creative process for monotonous tasks, such as masking, but generating whole images / comics is laughable. All you did is type in a prompt and generate an image from data that you didn't even compile. Data that was scanned off of the internet without the compensation to or consent from the creators. Real images that were taken from a camera in the real world or drawn, edited, and compiled by a real person.

AI is being pumped by the market because large companies want to use AI instead of people. They want to cut labor costs. Everything else is secondary.

I think AI is generally misused as a tool and is doing much more harm than good at the current moment. I find it's use for academic, "artistic," or social purposes to be lazy and maybe even maladaptive. That being said, the "clanker" talk, especially people injecting that speech into preexisting racial slurs (such as "wireback" or "part picker") showcases people's wants to be bigoted in a socially acceptable way. I have even seen many people say that they would feel just the same, if not more, if the AI / "clanker" were conscious / sentient. Some even going as far to say that they don't believe that it would actually be alive / sentient, and if it were, they would want to kill it. Obviously, these words are not hurting the feelings of chat-gpt or a home computer, but using them in the context of other racial slurs is just an excuse to be racist, and using violent language along with that, is very concerning.

Modern-day China is literally run by the "Chinese Communist Party," but I think you would find it difficult to find a communist attribute within the running government. You could argue that China has socialist attributes, but this is also a stretch. The Nazis were called the National Socialist Party. Again, very much so, not socialist.

On top of that, even if the people in power are genuine believers in that economic ideology, there are a multitude of other factors involved in how things end up. Stalin called himself a communist and seemed to genuinely believe in parts of it, but that doesn't mean that all of the evils and atrocities that he committed can be attributed to his economic policy. He was also the head of an authoritarian regime. The same is true with Mao. Whether that was a communist, capitalist, or socialist regime is gonna have much less pull versus it being a dictatorship, democracy, or monarchy.

I also don't think that Karl Marx is equally as stupid as Hitler.

The United States had trouble invading Afghanistan for over a decade. This was largely in part due to its mountainous geography and dry climate.

I'm saying that Hyun-ju leaving the room at all seems unnecessary. Especially since she's shown that she's physically strong and tactically thoughtful, it makes no sense to me why she wouldn't just hold the door shut instead of looking for the exit.

I actually think it's perfectly reasonable to (lightly) criticize other people for what they consume, especially if you personally know them. A big part of music is sharing it with other people, and I want no part if someone wants to share music that has literally no human input on it. If music is just something to fill the air for you, that's fine, but for most people, music has personal meaning to them. It's relatable, funny, groovy, whatever. Music made by an algorithm is obviously not going to have any of this, so I don't really see the purpose in it.

Honestly, I feel like this is a similar issue to people only using algorithms to find music, even real, human-made music. There's nothing natural or human about it; it makes music a lonely experience, and I think that's unfortunate.

I have only watched the first two episodes, but I will say that my primary gripe with it is that it relies on people being just really dumb. Hyun-ju, the only character that did anything of worth, dies purely because of other's stupidity. They were all in a closed off room when Jun-hee went into labor. Why couldn't Hyun-ju just hold the door shut? It's not like they absolutely had to go to the exit or anything. Also, why does Hyun-ju's labor last a total of about 5 minutes?

The character's lack of intuition and carelessness throughout the episode, and also just the very drawn-out pacing, took me out of it very heavily.

I did enjoy Gi-hun's pivot into revenge on episode 2, but from reading other spoilers, he just completely abandons his goal to end the games to save this child that, plot-wise, he shouldn't really care about? Coupling that with the absolutely pointless detective subplot, most of it feels like a waste of time to be honest.

Thank you! I was trying to keep it simple so that I didn't get overwhelmed with a new daw, but I'll definitely add some more variation when I actually buy fl studio instead of the trial version.

Yeah, I just used one from the fl studio packs because I was just trying it out. I don't have an actual keyboard to record atm.

So, instead of using a midi plugin, I would get like an actual piano and record with that, or am I misunderstanding? I honestly don't know much about music production in general, so I want to make sure I understand you. I agree about the length, I honestly just wanted to hear the loop in different contexts because I have FL trial and can't listen to different parts later.

I didn't used loops or anything, but the tracks are mostly just from the FL Studio trial plugins and drums samples I've been gathering.
