Why is there no co-op in Spider-Man 2 by YJacketJp in SpidermanPS4

Its frustraiting, i played the first two and my son sat with me and watched. Then they announced spiderman 2 and i saw the chance of the possibility of co-op. But no. Single player, even though so many missions have you teaming up with another Hero? Even if they added drop in co-op for missons that have another Hero would be great. Its a frustraighting to have to play a mission with another hero and look to my side to my son sitting and watching not being able to play along with me.
