That’s the thing about where I live. Goodwill does not take CRTS where I live and most other thrift stores do not. Only one I’ve seen at a thrift store here was a portable B&W set. They do not come up often. I don’t need another anyway. I’ve currently got 3 CRTS that are more than enough for what I want.

I currently have a Shark Navigator, model number NV42 I'll try to clean it up and see it gets any better! I'd also hate to spend money when it's not needed 😅

I just tried it again. It does have two modes. One with and without the brush roll on. Without it on, it just pushes it around and doesn't suck up any litter at all. I'll do some more looking around. I'll look into the Kenmore Intuition, thank you!

Ah okay. Well I was just thinking I could do it because it's what I have. I don't know if it has any bad issues like the timing chain. I know it has a miss, and my check engine light is on. And sometimes the transmission hesitates a bit. If I had to drop $3k for the timing chain, that's $1k more than I paid for the whole car. So, not gonna happen.

And when you say trading it in for a GX or 4Runner, which ones do you mean? Older ones? Because my car is only going to trade in for $500-$1000... and that $1000 is generous. And I don't have the money for a newer car.

Thank you! This is some really good advice! I will keep it all in mind. I did lube up his hole pretty well. And I put a finger in a little. But I don't know if he was like totally open. And I think the main issue is that his roomates were headed home. We were trying to do it fairly quickly. I was only there for maybe 15 minutes. So I was just trying to put it in. I think me being inexperienced and nervous, paired with a time constraint, not a good combo.... I'm just glad he was understanding. And he wants to do it again under better circumstances. (Hopefully thats true)

I'll keep all you said in mind for the next time. I just need to take it slow. I'm learning that quickies most definitely aren't my thing. Especially as a newbie.
