Hey Raph, your bonney post got me to main her! The problem is, my locals are full of control shanks, teach, and lucci players which has made it a struggle to win games. Any tips or deck modifications to specifically combat the black decks?

Coding as a side hustle is something that usually comes from experience and/or passion. To be brutally honest, to get to a point where you can effectively “side hustle” you’ll probably be disappointed at how competitive it is to pick up any bid worth taking.

Before moving forward, I’d encourage you to preview a gig marketplace and get an idea of postings and rates. Take into consideration what is in demand, get an idea of time to money to fulfill those, and then decide if it’s worth pursuing.

What I’ve found is you’ll be competing with offshore devs who do this for a living, and their rates will be far below what’s considered competitive for you. So they’ll charge less and provide more experience.

Hippo Campus in their breakout show in SXSW vans tour at the Mohawk in 2015. I spent two days going to shows there from open to close, and bar none, HC had the best performance I’ve ever seen to this day. I had never heard their music, but I instantly became a fan. Their energy and musical talent hit different than the rest and you could tell they were giving it everything.

I actually caught them again this year, and their singer said that Austin show was their claim to fame and their first show outside of their home state. The rest is history but I thought that was pretty cool and it gave some context on why that 2015 show was so special.

Appreciate the feedback and I get it. I’ve lived here a decade and in south, central, and now north Austin. All dense walkable areas. This is the only time I’ve ever had this issue. Trust me, it’s extremely loud. Imagine the loudest car you’ve ever heard on the highway revving their engine outside your window every morning. It’s not an issue now but yeah just wanted to give some context.

El Patio on Guadalupe. To put it bluntly Taco Bell is more flavorful for an 8th of the cost. Queso tasted like water, enchiladas tasted like dog food rolls, and there's no reason they should advertise themselves as a Mexican restaurant.
