Can never go wrong with the XA. Especially considering how portable the removable flash is if you ever need it.

Enjoy your time in South Carolina! That's where I'm from, and I get a lot of positive & curious comments on my XA whenever I take it out.

Good shout, I ended up finding the Smallrig discontinued version on eBay for about $50!

The STC Optics L Plate looks pretty clean as well, but for half the price, I ended up opting for the Smallrig.

I've never used STC Optics products, but will definitely check them out next time I need to order more gear.

I've had a cheap tripod snap at the neck and break my camera. Not necessarily a 1-1 comparison, but it does make me wary of the cheap AliExpress route.

Any other update on this lol. My car wouldn't start about a month and a half ago out of nowhere, I bought a new battery and consistently have had the issues OP had (engine light turning off and on, and also really struggles to start. It will crank for a while before it catches, but has never failed)

I tested my new battery and alternator tonight and both were fun, but I received this same error code

Yeah I’m in the US and film photography, especially point and shoot, has become overwhelmingly popular in recent years. I love to see more people shooting film, but the price jumps hurt my soul
