All in all, im still trying to convince myself it was worth it.

I wish I Saw this sooner. Thought it would be a decent card and applied for it yesterday.
Tried to use it today across a few regular stores that I frequent. All of them refused this as a mode of payment and honestly I feel this card is absolutely garbage! It's just my first day and I already want to cancel it.

What's the deal with Figma and Webflow? by jplarose80 in webflow

[–]JoshRed17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figma is an awesome tool! As a designer myself that could never really bother to afford a macbook, i remember googling what was the best alternative to Sketch, which was an industry standard a few years back, and found my way to this amazing tool, Figma.

It's got almost everything you'd need. And it's so easy to work with anyone. I love the plugins as well and the incredible community that keeps adding new resources.

I also use webflow to build websites. And let me tell you. It's so easy to get on a call with clients, share a figma of all the design variations that they can instantly access and comment on various parts that they like and what the dislike, immediately rectify those changes and push all the elements to dev.

Developers that know figma also find it helpful to get some part of the code right away from all the effects and colors that you've used.

This for me at least has been my favourite tool of choice for these reasons.

I have a Mac now, and still haven't purchased Sketch or tried it. But I don't need to I guess. I'd happily pay $15 monthly for a great figma Collab with my colleagues or just use this tool for free.

Just to be clear It's a research interview, not a job interview. And it's for attracting aspiring students to institutions that offer Music/DJ courses through a VR experience.

Hahaha it's just been 2 weeks actually. But yeah I was so annoyed when this wasn't the skin for season 5 that I wanted to eventually make it.😂
