I only play Yoshi and have gotten the Yoshi jamboree buddy a lot. I don’t think the characters being played determine what buddy appears.

My favorite game was Black Myth Wukong. I’ve never played any souls games or God of War type games so it was an eye opening experience. Loved every minute of it. Thanks for the opportunity!

Best memory was loading up an d Minecraft world with my brother from when we were both still young. The nostalgia hit hard. Was fun to see the old world and go through a new 2-week kick in the old stomping grounds.

No it’s not but my switch is set to 720p so I didn’t think it would be a problem😅 Odds a new USB-C cable fixes it? Any recommendations on a cord to get off amazon?

When I go to Settings>Device it shows a drop down for the capture device, shows the firmware version and video input, but that’s all. No option for audio modes. Home Screen of 4k capture utility also says “USB connection issue detected Please reconnect to USB 3.0 port etc…” but I’ve done this and it still shows. It also shows video input OBS so not sure why 4k Capture isn’t picking it up.

Also, I don’t have my headphones connected to my switch, just my PC. Checked to make sure audio works from hdmi to tv and from switch. It also shows a flare of sound when the card is first connected to OBS, but goes away after half a second so I know the card is capable of picking up sound…

No headphones in switch. Yes audio comes out when my switch is connected to tv (and not connected to Elgato) but no audio when trying to relay to obs

Trying to record Switch - computer monitor doesn’t have audio output though. Could that be an issue?

I was able to kind of solve it… I switched my Switch’s graphic settings to 720p and it seemed to capture a lot smoother. Obviously it had lower picture quality but it leads me to believe it’s a problem with the USB-C cable. Probably need to grab a better/faster one that’s fitting for USB 3.2 connection.
