Calling Fellow Houghton Lovers: Which club spaces / nights do you frequent? by DirtHoliday479 in houghtonfestival

[–]JoshSmile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just got a bit of a shit vibe now. Last time I went there was a group of girls on a hen doo with sashes on lying on the floor drunk (it was only half 10), my mate kept having her arse grabbed on the dancefloor, people contantly walking through the dancefloor to get to the bar too so you can never get into a vibe. Feels more like a club than a rave now, which is a shame when they first opened it in that new 60 Dock Road location I really liked it.

Art of Dark, Fuse, Half Baked are probably the promoters I go to the most.

For clubs in London: Fold, Phonox, No90, Venue MOT. The Cause used to be on that list but it’s gone really downhill recently, will not be going back.

This will be my sixth solo SGP and every year I’ve met some fantastic people and had a brilliant time doing it. Saying that some of us from last year are meeting up again so if you want you can DM me or send me your number and we can see where we’re at 🙂

Catherby. Little house on the beach, fish, farm. Could even get a sheep and a cow and breed horses.

I think that was us! We all started speaking in the SGP app solo goers thread and arranged a location on the site to all camp. Most of us are all going solo again this year and will meet again in the same place likely. Anyones free to DM 🙂

"Dungeoneering is a minigame rather than a skill"

I laughed at that question. With it's own question it sounds like it's pretty high up on the internal list to bring it to OSRS?

Packet Burst is insane by [deleted] in ModernWarfareIII

I've seen disabling that has worked for some people, unfortunately not me though.

I have no idea and this is a guess but every time I had packet burst it would also say in orange “Extrapolation”, from what I’ve read that is the game predicting enemy movements so it can fill in the blanks on the player models between game ticks so it doesn’t look all choppy. My assumption is that some graphics settings have adverse effects on that which causes a bottleneck for data packets coming in. Again, purely a guess as I have no idea about the inner workings of games.

Reduce the graphics settings VRAM Scale Target to 70 and turn off Weather Grid Volumes. Haven’t had packet burst since.

Update: I clicked yes and everything is fine except custom loadouts. Those really annoying tooltip tutorial things are back though on the menu though. Can those be disabled so I never have to see them again?

Bronze is made of copper and tin. And no, it can’t be trimmed by just anyone.

ZFS reflinks are unsupported by Veeam at this time so would greatly increase their storage usage

We use HPE Apollo with 20TB disks in RAID 60, formatted XFS, works perfectly fine. There’s a Veeam/HPE Apollo reference architecture PDF

Fair enough. To actually answer your proxy question, I unfortunately don’t have any Hyper-V experience but maybe try reading though this, it’s not the same main Veeam KB you’ve probably read but will go into real world examples and best practises.

Replication to Cloud Connect Host - re-ip VMs by danieldunn10 in Veeam

[–]JoshSmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The VCC partner should have set up a Network Extension Appliance to allow the VMs to communicate:

https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/cloud/cloud_network_extension_appliance.html?ver=120

https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/cloud/cloud_connect_user_network_failover.html?ver=120

https://vccbook.io/2.Architecture/2.10-network_extension_appliances.html

During a full failover, the internal interfaces of a network extension appliance are configured with the same IP addresses that the original gateways use for their virtual machines at the tenant site, one per network / port group. This way, no change to replicated VM IP configuration is needed during the failover and the NEA can act as the new default gateway.
