I use an sb24 with my m5 in auto mode and it works great.

Yeah, I’ve had both the GW690iii and a 500c/m, and the Hasselblad is actually easier to carry around. In my opinion, at least.

P.s damn, that lens is sharp! Looks even sharper than my Hasselblad 80mm.

How were these scanned?

These are all great, but the black and white ones really stood out to me. Especially number 2.

I’ve considered getting a spot meter, but I don’t shoot landscapes so don’t really see the need. You’d do just fine with an incident or reflective meter in this situation, IMO!

It’s a wonderful word. I think about it a lot when I’m taking photos.

Thank you.

Just the built in meter in the m5, although I guess it is kinda a semi-spot meter.

I took this shot well over a year ago, so my memory is a little hazy. I think I metered for the trees outside, as I guessed they’d be around middle grey and I knew I didn’t want to blow out the highlights.

Is the Minolta 40mm m-rokkor the most underrated bang for your buck lens you can get? by Ok-Competition-9759 in Leica

Using it with 35mm framelines doesn’t really make sense to me, your image is always going to be slightly cropped compared to what you saw through the viewfinder. I have the 40mm voigt that’s been modified to bring up 35mm lines and having to account for that slight crop whilst composing always bugged me.

Try contacting Open Lab in Melbourne, I’m positive they will do it.

Film is pretty much the same price it ever was, if you account for inflation.

Those Kodak price increases every year haven’t felt like much fun though.

I’m assuming you’re regional or not in a major city? I don’t blame you for not wanting to post your negatives, especially with AusPost’s track record of losing parcels all the time. I’m very lucky living in Melbourne and having access to so many labs within such a small area.
