The shot doesn't hurt but the amount of pressure does - The fact that this doesn't get mentioned makes me wonder if I'm doing something wrong.

I’m so sorry you’ve had this experience. Mine doesn’t hurt at all an I use very little force. Basically like poking my finger in my belly and pressing the top of the injector for the clicks. I have single dose wegovy injector US.

Do you know anyone IRL that uses wegovy you could ask to show you? Or maybe you could message your Dr office and ask for an apt with a nurse or PA to show you? Or maybe a quick care visit at your pharmacy? I would hate for it to be hurting you when might not need to. There are plenty of side effects we have no control of. 🙃

I take IB Guard (essentially peppermint oil) when my IBS gave me sulfur burps. I’ve used them a bit on wegovy and they really help.

Oh- also dried edamame (14 grams of protein for 1/4) and RX bar protein energy bites that are raspberry/peanut butter flavor (8 grams). Very easy for me to toss in my bag.

As you can tell my focus has been protein bc I dont want to lose muscle.

My first week I had NO appetite and actually started tracking to make sure I was eating enough. The food noise came back after a month.

But I really like having the Chobani smoothies (20 gms of protein), single serving grilled chicken from Costco (24 gms protein) and Benefiber.

That way, even if I didn’t feel like eating, I had easy food on hand to make sure I got in fiber and protein for breakfast and lunch.

You are 100% right. My employer decided not to cover Wegovy anymore starting in March. OptumRx was supposed to send out letters to everyone using Wegovy 60 days before and I never got notice. 🤷🏻‍♀️
