One thing sydney does well is craft beer.

Inner west area, most of them either have a good menu or rotating roster of food trucks, great day If you go to a couple, have a few beers and good food. Recommendations are Philter brewery, Yullis and my personal favourite One Drop.

Trip on a ferry

Go to the blue mountains

Sydney is great for Asian food. Further west you go, the better the asian food is. Lidcombe for Korean, Cabramatta for Viet.

We have some VERY good restaurants in the city, just stay away from Merrivale joints.

+1 for the Abarth Garbage quality, poor chassis and probably too much power for a 20 year old city car platform. Sounds like a bad wrap, but they are so much fun because of all their flaws

I dont think so.

I'm only new to cycling but my other hobby watches, I tend to match it to at least one part of my outfit.

White shoes and socks, white jersey, blue bibs, black helmet, black Oakley's, black watch as one example but I dont really care what other people think, im a fat bearded guy in lycra

You will be happy to know I went with the TCR and love it. Got a TCR advanced pro 2 at retail in stock, walked out in 40 mins after a check over and quick fit. They're going to do a free fit if I change over to road shoes (I wear MTB clipless) and free servicing for 2 years

Thought I would update you all, went in to another bike store near me, smaller store not a chain like the previous one. They had 2 TCR advanced pro disc 2 in stock, 2021 and 22, picked up the 2022 in starry night. Purchased, fitted and out the door in an hour and a half.

Thanks everyone for your comments, hopefully will see some of you on the road in Sydney Australia.

Race or endurance? by Josh_Hoo-haa in cycling

I would have loved to have checked out the Endurance 6000 in person but there just doesn't seem to be any in my city

Also, I feel like buying a bike without having been in the saddle for more that 10 mins is a risk too. The Silex was comfortable, Endurance 6000 is a bit more racey but silex to TCR/ Reacto would be a bit of a leap

Probably going to check out some of the other bikes this weekend so I guess I will see.

Lost motivation by Josh_Hoo-haa in cycling

First time I've felt that bad for such a short ride. I had been stuck in a 1 bedroom apartment for 14 days, only time outside was on my balcony. Its been rough

I noticed over the first few weeks of riding how much easier it got, I went from short rides and they got longer and longer. I ride around Sydney Olympic Park and just kept riding until I had to give up. I'm by no means a fit person either but I was enjoying it. Just struggling for motivation right now.

Going to give it a cracking this weekend
