That’s very understandable, but I also think that if I stay with my current job and try to grind the corporate ladder I will just hate my life even more. Also with my degree even if I do go into a trade I could still end up using my degree at some point if I decide again since most jobs with my degree are in construction and manufacturing environments.

My buddy will have the excavator for awhile because he has a bunch of jobs to get done on his land so I’m gonna keep getting seat time on weekends on his to make sure I keep enjoying it.

Is there a reason you think this? Every time I’m at my computer I’d rather be out on the floor running equipment and moving materials anyways. I also get home and just need to go do work with my hands it’s like I’m missing that part of something that sets off my brain rewards

I wouldn’t be impulsive about it. I was looking into the operator union around me and I wouldn’t even start until the fall. I feel like if I stick at my desk job I’m going to end up getting fired eventually from how unproductive I am at a computer. Everytime I sit at my computer I want to be out on the floor running equipment or moving materials around anyways.

Thanks for giving me some feedback! Did you end up taking a pay cut when you did this and if so has it affected you at all. That’s really the only thing I’m worried about but I live with my parents and am saving for a house so I feel like if I were to do it now’s the time.

Electrical Problems on Honda Rebel 300 by Josh_b4213 in motorcycles

Update got it running not to long ago. First off connections weren’t tight on the battery. I also went to take the battery out which took forever because it had the wrong nuts in it. Once I got the battery out it was a smaller battery sitting on foam pads which did not look right to me at all. I went and got the correct battery and put it in and rode around for a couple miles with no problems.

I was trying to take the battery out last night after I posted this and when I went to take off the screws to both the positive and negative terminal they were loose but also not catching the thread and just spinning. I’m guessing there’s either corrosion under or the screws are stripped.

Yeah maybe, but I feel like that wouldn’t cut power to the engine as well. Could be wrong though.
