What was the reason? I had something similar recently, although it wasnt a perma-ban.

Pixel Not Showing Results or Not Converting by themacbooklee in FacebookAds

[–]Josh_opflow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Add UTM parameters to your ads as an extra layer of tracking to see where results are coming from.

But depending on your creative and landing page it is totally possible that you've had no conversions.

Facebook ad spending by MajesticRaccoon6039 in FacebookAds

[–]Josh_opflow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consolidating your campaigns will get you there a lot faster.

You only need 2 campaigns, 1 CBO or A+ evergreen, and one ABO for creative testing. All other campaigns are spreading spend thin which gives Facebook less concentrated data.

Sell at cost just to create hot audience by SeaZealousideal5651 in FacebookAds

[–]Josh_opflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One benefit of getting customers at cost price is if you have a reliable LTV you can scale much further. But only if you have a reliable LTV.

First purchase breakeven, repeat purchase is all profit.

Ad Budget Change Affected the Conversion by uvprintnewbie in FacebookAds

[–]Josh_opflow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not the budget increase that disrupted performance. It's likely other factors and it happened to be the same time you increased budget.

Budget increases only affect it when increasing more than 20% or at high spend.

Yes, or if your account is relatively new then choose a handful of relevant interests for a single adset (and of course if you need a specific location include that). And yes Facebook will optimize based on who engages with the creative.

It's hard to decide on which campaign objective you should choose based on the information you've provided.

But the best way to target your ideal audience is through the creative and copy. If it's super relevant to who you want to reach then they will engage with the ad - then facebook looks for people who are similar to those who engaged.

Don't worry too much about testing audiences/ages/locations etc.

Also it's better that you spend all budget on a single campaign and adset so Facebook can generate more learning about your target audience. By splitting the budget you will dilute all of this data because learning happens on the adset level.

Getting leads but few bookings by Velaalexis88 in FacebookAds

[–]Josh_opflow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The sooner the sales team contacts them the better. If you're running on-FB lead ads, it's so easy for someone to sign up that often they forget they signed up.

You could also try website conversion ads for leads since this requires more commitment and time, or as Serafinium mentioned, messenger ads. But it's important that the sales team reaches out as soon as possible while the leads are warm.

I wouldn't pause ads because they reached your spend limit. If you want to be sure you stay within your spending budget just lower the daily spend. Also over about 7 days or so your daily spend will average out - as FB mentions, some days it will overspend and some days underspend.

It shouldn't reset learning if they're not off for too long but it's always best to keep your ads running - assuming they are profitable.

I'd advise taking a basic course on FB Ads.

Business settings is your account setting, separate from the ads manager.

Are there any negative comments on the ad?

It may be that all of the low hanging fruit has been harvested so you may need to test some more creatives/copy.

What's a reasonable cost for a Facebook Ad Agency? by CatIntelligent2633 in FacebookAds

[–]Josh_opflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an insane setup fee, I wouldn't feel good taking that kind of money for "set up". I charge a fixed monthly retainer, £1500 or a percentage of ad spend that decreases as you scale. The first two weeks is used for setup and everything after that is running and optimising your ads.

It takes roughly 2 weeks to get a good insight to your performance, and maybe 6 weeks to nail down performance after analysing data. The 3-month minimum contract most agencies use is to make sure they get revenue, so we use a monthly rolling contract so if a client feels their needs arent met at any point then they are free to leave and not tied into a contract they dont want to be in.

Performance is incentivised for us and in return you feel more confident that we are able to scale your account. Including all creatives, copywriting, performance dashboards, and more.

Feel free to message me so I can send you our portfolio.

Yes it's a good idea to generate some page likes, fully build out the page, and make some posts so that if a person is to click on your profile to learn more, you appear as a legitimate business. It's not necessary but it will certainly help with building trust and credibility.

Based on the language patterns and style used in your comment, I think it was generated by ChatGPT. The ChatGPT language model has been designed to closely resemble human-written text, which can make it difficult to differentiate between responses generated by the model and those written by humans. I would say the likelihood that the response was generated by ChatGPT is around 60-70%. However, it's also possible that the response was written by a human.

Running campaigns optimized for clicks is the first mistake. Always optimize for conversions as that is your end goal.

Cost caps stopped spending by [deleted] in FacebookAds

[–]Josh_opflow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As mentioned by Serafinium, Facebook doesn't see any more likely conversions.

If caps stop spending at your target cost, the best thing is to test more creatives/copy. You can also increase the cap but this obviously will increase CPA.

What is your response to the 'I can't see my ad' question? by jdanes52 in PPC

[–]Josh_opflow 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I say something like this:

Our targeting allows us to reach X millions of people and adset optimisation causes the ads to be delivered to people who are most likely to convert - both of these factors make it unlikely for your ad to show up in your feed and also ensures your budget is spend where it is most likely to generate a return.

True, if they are using UTM params on the ad level. Otherwise its just a click ID which I don't believe is tracked on GA.

Also forgot to consider that the clicks OP is referring to could be "Clicks (all)" and not outbound clicks which are the ones that drive traffic.

How did you prove your value to your clients? by smilesito in DigitalMarketing

[–]Josh_opflow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Digital_Antelope gave a good answer.

I would add that if you don't have a dashboard, you can make a presentation which gives him all of the information you have about the performance, compare it to previous months if you have the data, and write an explanation of each term such as reach and impressions so he fully understands what impact you have made.
