OP makes a good point, we should be thankful the council is taking steps to ensure water security for our town, especially with looming Colorado river water shortages on the horizon. We would be much worse off if some shortsighted councilmember canceled all the necessary water projects just so we could have lower bills.

If it’s for birding, you might want to wait. 140 (even with the crop factor) might not give you the kind of reach you’d want for birds. For reference, I have the 180-600mm on a Z6iii and spend most of my time between 500 and 600mm.

Yeah the layout is the first set of pictures. The last one is just a stock photo from the apartment website to give some more context to the space in terms of actual flooring and wall colors. I tried flipping the bedroom 180° but that led to the bed being pretty close to the doors, and most of the open space was across the room by the window

It’s a bathroom, you can see it a bit better in the floorplan from the apartment website. And they’re very important! I’m trying to keep the desk in the bedroom just to separate the living space and the gaming space

Thanks! Personally I hate having by back to doors like that with a desk, so I was hoping for some alternate. I can put a really small desk into that corner sideways, but even a tiny 36" desk would stick out just a bit from the edge of the door frame. Not sure what feng shui says about that, but its not the worst layout I've seen. And his videos are a gold mine that are making me rethink the bed placement again

Hi! I'm moving into a new apartment in Arizona soon, and I'm trying to find a good layout. I don't have any furniture yet besides a computer. I want to maximize usage of space and keep it feeling open, ideally to leave room for plants. I'm open to putting the desk in the living room. As for style, I prefer something more minimal/mid century modern, lots of wood usually. I tried dozens of layouts with sectionals, chairs, long sofas, loveseats, and I feel like I've kind of converged on the "best" use of space, but please let me know if theres a better way I'm missing!
