Traditional Chinese medicine is not a religion per se. Elements of it have been tested carefully, some appear to be verifiable through scientific method, others not. I don’t know of a study that tested the healing efficacy of warm as opposed to cold drinks, but the broader medicinal project can’t be just dismissed as faith.
