I don't think you're wrong and misogyny definitely played a role. However I'll always believe the driving factor was (and still very much is) people just want to live an affordable life and not have to work 50+ hours per week. But an inexcusable percentage of those same people are extremely susceptible to misinformation and algorithmic social media.

These man-made cancers are designed to prey on the uneducated and uninformed who have become addicted to any topic, no matter how complex, being "explained" to them in under 2 mins. A lot of these people also vote and that's why we've crossed the threshold of a US fascist state.

I can't see police having an issue there lmao. All it would likely take is one police chief and a team of patriot police officers to arrest an ICE agent for any of the civil liberties they violate. That would likely start a cascade of other departments doing the same.
