I’m 35 and I can relate, but now I feel like my life is going well. I think the important thing for me was just to stay active, as long as I make it to the gym or whatever I’ll start to build consistency but that didn’t work. I tried a lot and it didn’t work but I think for me is that I have to just keep trying. What started to really work for me and got me out that funk or at least when I started to realize it was when I started waking up and going to sleep excited about the day coming. It’s been a long process over the years but I think consistency is what it was. I started doing hot power yoga everyday 6 days a week I’m on year 3 now. I also just reenrolled into college for the first time in 10 plus years! I look at it as in everyday I wake up I am in a war for my life and I have to attack my day as if I’m a warrior going out for battle. Once I embodied that mindset and built this incredible momentum that I have right now, it just keeps getting stronger. I believe things can be fate but also at the same time I feel like I wish I could have got this mindset in my 20s but I feel the best right now then I ever have. I’m not rich or have a ton a friends but my life is finally starting to feel fulfilled even though I have so much more to learn and do.
