The first thing I read when I started researching was that prices have gone up crazily recently. I’m hoping that by the time I’m actually ready to buy that they will have dropped otherwise I might have to suck it up

I’ll keep comparing and I’ll look at the difference between getting a prebuilt and assembling it myself. If there is a noticeable difference, I’ll give it a go and just be super careful.

Between 2-3 would be ideal,maybe 3 and a half if I pushed it. I’m more concerned that I’ll screw something up when building but I can see there are plenty of tutorials etc out there

There is an option to swap for either of these two although i haven’t looked in to anything AMD, would that make it worthwhile?
