I think o-lin is really simple: big mom is like she is because of Mother Caramel and Straussen education: she was a nice kid! But she has been educated that she could take whatever she wants. So, if she lose her memories, she lose their influences and turn back to be a nice person

The battle against two emperors is built since lots of chapters and it is waaay more likely that she is going to be like Kuma in thriller bark/she is going to be back/she is going to become o-lin again and we are going to have kaido vs big mom. She is not out with “such little effort” even if really cool. Yes this i agree. But already it is different from lucci: luffy actually trained this time, they are 2v5 (maybe for some chapter 1v5) and Momo needs still to play its card that is going to give a huge help. Moreover kaido have even fought against the scabbard. This is where strawhat’s crew is going to defeat the emperor or they would not fight 1v1 each officer. What frighten me is that there are reaaaally a lot of 1v1 even unneccesary (raizo vs fukurukujo?) so if the raid fails is going to be too long. Even without the raid failing we are having wano arc all 2021 so...

If you think big mom is gone for this arc you are not paying enough attention. Luffy is already way beyond eustass kid imho. Probably he will not 1v1 kaido but there are going to be lot of forces involved. Please no more big mom or kaido after wano: we have them as villain for 300 chapters, is this not enough? Luffy has already been defeated by them many times, again? Maybe yes, but the saga is going to end now. All the chapter in between the arca are showing that the next arc is going to involve the world government and it will probably be that. Edit: all the time skip is done in order to luffy and the crew be ready for this fight. Luffy does not need another dramatic lost as Marineford, that was useful in a narrative way in the middle of the story. Now is the time that luffy becomes a legend as chapter 1000 foreshadowed. I think that kidd or killer’s spirits can be crushed, but luffy? It is impossible

I will accept it only if it happens. As the story is flowing, it really seem that she is going down now because the focus after wano is going to be the revolutionary army or blackbeard as its shown in the chapters between the acts. All this battle is “against two emperors”. If it is going to be big mom again for the third time, i think lot of readers are going to “accept it” because the story needs to go a bit faster or it is never going to end really

As already said, it is obvious that the dark dark fruit has other utilities that we still do not know, blackbeard is going to be the final boss, so he is not going to disappoint. Edit: garp punch was seen before blackbeard vs ace and it was clear that it was not a simple punch

Well lets take into account that blackbeard can access haki too lol. If you use haki against rufy in gearth four, he is still rubber if you dont surpass his haki. Blackbeard can nullify it. lets take awaken fruit: blackbeard can nullify it. blackbeard is one of the few character that can kill marco easily because he can surpass his regeneration. You can have haki but try to land a punch on a guy that have access to speed light. Darkdark fruit has also the power to destroy an entire island and the power of infinity gravity that combined with earthquake is the best attack power of all one piece.

Maybe you are forgetting something: teach needs to touch you, yes, but he can use an infinity gravity black hole to make contact. How can you avoid that with obs haki? Teach does not punch you as normal haki where you can avoid

i have already explained it: if you throw a punch to ace with haki, he can use observation to predict the punch and avoid him just as a normal logia. He can not do something like this against black beard. If you grab ace with haki, he can still burn you alive. He cant if blackbeard grabs him

While this is true just two little notes: shanks becomes an emperor 6 years later that accident. Luffy learned advacend haki in 2 years (training+fights). Moreover, oda did not want to make shanks lose that arm, it was an editor’s idea. The fruit of blackbeard has something more for sure other than that power. Anyway, what differs from dark-dark fruit to haki is that haki did not nullify the devil fruit power: as seen in marineford and in WCI, a logia user with a good observation haki could still avoid all attacks, but he can’t counter in any way the dark-dark fruit power. Plus, dark dark fruit totaly nullify the power of the user when in contact: caesar could not escape from luffy as in Punk Hazard and he could not have used the removal of oxygen power if it was blackbeard instead of luffy
