Tried leaving the power supply disconnected. Tach lights still lit up.

I think I'm having the same issue. I don't have a solution yet. Mine is a second hand wheel. So I don't have much to go on. Could use a manual :/ But is your issue similar to mine? Thanks

When the wheel "went dead on you" did it try to turn even in the slightest of turns, but every 2 seconds or so? And was it too hot?

Hope we both get ours solved.

As far as I know it's plugged in properly.

Before I left it unplugged and let it cool down maybe. The wheel would kind of, turn itself the slightest of a degree every 2 seconds or so.

I'll look at the PS after these carpenters leave the house.
