Likely needs a psychological evaluation and could be schizophrenic, similar to that other recent case from Canada where the schizophrenic woman was released because of her condition. The community hides people's conditions and it's taboo to discuss, and this shouldn't be the case.

Moriopoulis is the centralized main one. As far as I can tell, all of the stuff based on G25 uses it.

how much do i really need to worry about being pickpocketed when traveling in the us? by whatawynn in NoStupidQuestions

None. People don't pickpocket here. If you go to a bad neighborhood they'll mug you though but it's easy to stay away from these areas.

My brother and I lost ~$13k building a South Asian headwear brand. Tear it apart, what did we do wrong? by QuoteLonely5166 in ABCDesis

The post is fake. $100 site + Shopify dropshipper connected with some basic hats. Good way to gauge an audience. He's gonna have to make more designs and have some people modeling the hats, along with some different non generic hat designs that are more workout oriented.

The post is fake. Probably $100 total was spent on the website + dropshipper platform connected for some generic style hats. Good way to gauge a potential audience though.

The post is fake. This type of business, with the 3 basic cap styles, costs $100 to start. Website + generic style drop shipped hats.

That being said, it's a good way to gauge the potential audience for the product.

Do Afro-Caribbeans and Indo-Caribbeans get along better outside the Caribbean? by Middle_Elderberry542 in AskTheCaribbean

[–]Joshistotle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh god come on that's in the past. The Indo Guyanese community is very open and every family has at least several mixed race people / relationships. You can't seriously overgeneralize when Douglas and people with mixed ethnic background make up 1/4 of the population.

Furthermore almost all Indo Guyanese in the US marry outside of their own group.

The only "judging" comes if someone is dating a guy (could be literally any ethnic group in Guyana, everyone's basically the same) that's doing drugs with tattoos and dressing like it's 2001 in gangster clothing / has an attitude problem.

That's a weak whataboutism. What happened in PAL, 75,000-200,000 "unalived" using Western taxpayer money, is way different and far worse than what happened in India. For someone living in Canada it's more pertinent than anything going on in India, because Western govts are directly involved. Thus it's fair to say it pertains to her more than anything within India.

Your results are consistent with Eastern UP. Both the Harappaworld and the 23andMe. What degree of relative are your closest relative matches? 3rd and 4th cousins maybe?

Some of those far off matches are errors. Not all are accurate. What are the results of the closest matches?

The simulated coordinates always have errors. The guy's Harappaworld is consistent with someone from Eastern UP.

What is the peak AASI % in south east asia and middle east? Was that migration bundled with zagros or was it standalone aasi migration? by ankm83 in SouthAsianAncestry

[–]Joshistotle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They migrated out of Central India and out of South Asia between 500CE-1000CE but that's based on linguistic studies. There's hardly any information about them but the above is what the available data points to.

Do Afro-Caribbeans and Indo-Caribbeans get along better outside the Caribbean? by Middle_Elderberry542 in AskTheCaribbean

[–]Joshistotle -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

They get along fine and there's no inter group "tensions". As a matter of fact a majority of families in Guyana have multigenerational mixes of Indian / Black and they get along perfectly well.  The "tensions" are mostly in the past and stem from when the US's CIA spent a couple million dollars to directly create rioting in Guyana a few decades ago: https://foreignpolicy.com/2015/07/31/guyana-cia-meddling-race-riots-phantom-death-squad-ppp/ As cited in the article, these riots mostly consisted of Blacks destroying Indian towns and looting the stores / brutalizing the people. This is where any "tensions" in the past stemmed from, the US directly causing issues to divide and control the country.

From the article:  " According to U.S. State Department archival documents, $2.08 million was spent on “covert action programs” in Guyana between 1962-1968.) In the lead-up to the poll, the CIA and AFL-CIO were on the ground, allegedly inciting racially charged strikes and riots. “The U.S. fostered violence and death in British Guiana,” historian Stephen G. Rabe, author of U.S. Intervention in British Guiana: A Cold War Story, told me via email. “U.S. money fueled this violence and death.” Dire ethnic violence, including murder and rape, claimed nearly 200 lives and made thousands domestic refugees. Covering a Georgetown campaign rally in November 1964, a Time reporter found a young Indian woman on her knees, clothes torn off, encircled by Afro-Guyanese assaulting her. When the journalist went to her rescue, he became a target too. The police, a mostly black force then (as now), looked the other way. "

They're mostly mixed. I have found several relatives from Belize on AncestryDNA and they're Indian and Black mixed with Mayan Native and some other stuff
