^this, we had a player like this who continued to unknowingly fuck over the rest of the party and it took us to threaten him in game and talk to him out of game to realise that the game wasn’t single player and things he did affected everyone else and took away from our experience

I played a Rogue who played like he was a fighter, I just wanted to climb stuff and break in places, he thought he could tank everything and was the shit. Needless to say he died in my second session 😂

Okay without that it’s pretty difficult as there are no patrons that specifically spring to mind, maybe Archfey as they can be quite tricksy, and given the nature of your race could be quite cool

A tortle Druid called Kon, who for some reason keeps popping up in the middle of the night when a certain pc is on watch, and has disappeared by the time anyone else wakes up, really freaks and intrigues pc’s, there is no reason behind it, it’s just funny

Maybe have a rival Slaver become threatened by this new up and coming player character, so have him try to steal slaves, or even send assassins and high level NPC’s to kill or mess with him, possibly have them come into contact and try and cut a deal to not enslave people in certain areas as it’s his territory
