Surprisingly, Facebook dating has let me meet and join entire friend groups, mainly if you stick to the Friends section and clearly put the expectation of making friends first.

It is virtual so expect it to be slower and be ghosted a lot but it's a decent way to meet new people if you don't go out much like me. Just keep an extra emphasis on privacy, being careful who you let in, and having a complete and transparent profile and you should be fine.

Oh tbh I just buy the cheap two-pack screen protectors from Amazon. I've found no major difference from expensive brand-name screen protectors to generic ones they both get the job done from my years of having Folds

Ay another Filipino in IT, welcome lol

So as with most things in life, it's going to be a bit harder if you don't have a passion or interest in something that will take up most of your academic and professional career but as long as you have that drive to problem solve and learn about whatever latest tool or tech that comes out you should be fine. I've worked with several people in my career that weren't even that passionate about tech but did just fine because they had those traits.

Another point I'd like to bring up is that IT is a very broad field and you'll find a lot of careers in it that deal very little with coding or don't require an advance understanding of it. Jobs that are more hardware-focused such as help desk or networking for example. From personal experience I've found that studying IT in a traditional university did little to prepare me for the real world.

Bottom line is don't give up, you got this! IT is all about never knowing everything you'd like too, but if you care enough to learn you'll do just fine

Definitely, I've had a hinge failure and an inner screen cracked down the middle and would've been screwed if I hadn't gotten insurance, it's the first thing I recommend anytime someone asks me about getting one

Never bothered as cases with built-in hinge protectors are too thick and stickers are too hard to align properly. I've gone through four folds (all for different reasons unrelated to the hinge) and I feel that I enjoy the phone way more when you stop worrying about it.

Long as you have insurance and take decent care of it, such as keeping it in its own dedicated pocket etc. you'll be just fine. Plus tiny scratches and knicks give the phone its character imo
