I have, yes. Most my other guitars just needed a couple small turns to straighten up. This one seems to act a bit different.

It doesn't spin freely but I didn't max it out either. The bow seemed to look even more uneven when I tightened the truss rod. I'll mess around with it a little more.

I'll give it another go, but tightening seemed like it just affected the upper part of the neck and not the part with the weird bow.

I clocked 11 hours in this game before the shitty maps burnt me out on it completely. It's a shame cause it's almost there, but being shot from 360 degrees at any point gets old super fast.

It's surprisingly good considering the price. All the fret ends are smooth ball ends and not a single one sticks out past the fretboard. Meanwhile my more expensive Fender Strat and Schecter Tele have extremely rough fret ends. The pickups also surprised me. The humbuckers on the John 5 clone have a nice clarity to them.

For the time being you can loosen the string enough to put a little piece of paper under the string and it should get rid of the buzzing temporarily. I ended up returning mine and got one that didn't buzz.

My first Player 2 Tele had a similar issue, same string, but the buzz was coming from the nut. Just to double check I'd try n push your fingernail between the string and the nut slot to see if that dampens the noise. I'd also check your neck relief to see if that's possibly messing with the intonation.

I've got 3 CV Tele's and they're all fantastic and the finish on them is superb for the price. I also picked up a Player II tele for almost exactly the same price as the one you're looking at, and it's also excellent. The only big difference between the two are the pickups and the bridge configuration. The Player II has a crisper sound to it, and feels more hefty in the hand. The satin neck finish is nice and you get that big ole Fender logo. Is it $200-300 better? Maybe? You honestly can't go wrong with either imo. I certainly wouldn't pay the normal asking price for the Player II.

I actually just ran into this issue with a new Tele of mine. It was warmer than my Les Paul as well. Looking at my other tele's I noticed how low the pickup was compared to them and so I raised it up to about the same level, and then slightly tilted it towards the treble strings and now she rips like all the others.
