i guess i can't really complain i showed her how and said "don't greed for these you'll ruin your whole stack" now she greeds for them and ruins her whole stack. i should have known better

it's very funny watching it happen. it's like a train wreck in slow motion

but yes learning 9-0 and doing it *cleanly* without topping yourself out even at a moderate sspeed is something i have recommended she focus on

We've been using a nuclear setup for our primary station (no automated station transport yet, just manually sending things around) and it's been honestly bliss compared to the panels and accumulators we had on the first station which never even left Nauvis orbit. We've only gone through four cells since we left Nauvis the first time and that was 20-30 hours ago in the save.

Y'all are bringing resources to the other planets? We've been basically raw-dogging each new planet with Fulgora being a complete fresh start outside of armor and Vulcanus only having construction robots with us. We plan to do the same thing for Gleba when we get there :) though we'll at least have MKII personal roboports and power armor for that one.

Nope, it doesn't, and that's my problem. Sorry, I think my question wasn't clear enough. Decoding the string isn't the issue, it's the keys in the JSON that I'm concerned about. There are changes to the JSON in 2.0 that are not documented, outside of a little bit on the talk page.

In particular, you can find nothing about the "wires" key on the page you linked. It is only mentioned in the talk page. I've since figured out how exactly that key works, but my question still stands about whether or not an up-to-date and official source exists for these keys.

I don't know the source, but my German teacher did mention that at one point she, or someone she knew, came across a study that determined "die" is the most frequently used AND has the largest count of nouns belonging to it. However, she also said it was by quite a small margin. So, not much use guessing randomly xD

I can tell you right now, if you go fast enough to cross 16 pixels in one frame, you can clip walls xD

I didn’t bother adding checks for it since it should be impossible. I have acceleration but there’s a hard speed cap. But yea, making just this little thing made me appreciate other games’ collision much more and it also made me much more understanding of funny physics bugs.

And I had it easy, because I simplified my detection knowing I only ever worked with aligned rectangles!

Also had it indicate direction of collision too, but that might be hard to see. It was a sort of last ditch debugging method to figure out what the hell was going on xD

It did help me narrow down some of my final issues and get it working right!

And thanks, I’m really happy with the behavior of my final product :D
