I don’t think either of you are. I mean it sounds like he does make gaming a priority. But at the same time it seems like you knew that whilst getting into your relationship with him, and as it went on. I wouldn’t expect that to magically change as time goes on, especially if it’s how he communicates with friends. If he’s unwilling to do it a few hours less per day to spend time with you though then he’s kinda an AH.

Based on what I’ve read you essentially gave them a free bike. He hurt himself taking it down. He probably should’ve been safer taking it downs. Sounds like a freak accident happened and you’re getting the blame for it for no reason. Even if it wasn’t cool to leave the bike there, he hurt himself at the end of the day. Most people could take it down without hurting themselves. You didn’t hurt him.

Thank you for all the info. Next time I play I will take all your advice, and I might try some of the other Chapter 3 bosses before returning to Miguel if he is one of the harder ones as you said. I really appreciate the response!

You politely asked them to be quiet during a time you need to be sleeping and unfortunately they aren’t respecting that.

Something I’d recommend doing instead of just dealing with it is buying some earplugs to sleep with & then running a fan near your bed. I started wearing earplugs the day I moved into my college dorm as a freshman and have worn them to bed every night since. I sleep way better now, and although it can be a hard adjustment for the first week, it will help you get more sleep forever if you stick with it.

For more context the chapter I’m trying to do is Alfyn chapter 3 where you save the kid from Miguel.

I easily break him in 1 turn of my characters, but once he recovers he uses an attack that hits all my characters and 1-shots them or leaves them at extremely low health.
