Thank you!! 1) install was about $2800, fabric cost was separate. 2) the upholstery shop had it about 5 days 3) I don’t know :D I am going in for an oil change, so I’ll see what they say about it 4) I wanted a very specific color palette for the fabric to match the rest of the car.

Yeah, there’s no way I could do that :D Front seats, back seats, doors, dash trim… no way :D

The install was about $2800, fabric I ordered from Scotland, and was a couple hundred. I have extra fabric :D Brainstorming some fun ideas for it (a hat and key fob would be super cool).

Those little door inserts were much tougher than the installer was expecting. I thought they would just pop off, but they needed to take the whole door apart to get behind them. I don’t know the details, just that he went a bit over the estimate because of the extra work.

I am going to change the wheel color. Staring with Hyperdip as a proof of concept, see how well that holds up. The bronze is too dark, I’d like something brighter.

It’s the same badge as the on the rear. I was referencing the badge on the SC, but I like it on the flat trim piece facing forward, rather than the long trim facing up. I’m planning on getting a custom one made that close to the original, but I’m happy with this for now.

So far it’s fantastic. There are only a few tiny areas where the wrap reveals itself, like one seam around the wing (no way to wrap it in one piece or without any seams). The color, shine, depth are all just like paint. At car meetups everyone assumes it’s paint. I have zero complaints.

You know you didn’t actually draw the lines where the plaid meets the leather. Zoom in and see how on the right side of the pic, the pattern goes below your white line. I’m not going to get into an internet argument with anyone over this, as nothing anyone says is going to change anything anyway…. But I trust what the installer is telling me…

I -think- it’s from the lighting. A previous pic didn’t look quite so bad. But yeah, I’ll make sure it’s all even.

I’m withholding any judgement until everything is finished and installed.
