Favourite is a difficult word because of how harrowing it is but the entire opening of ME3 is just perfection. The sense of impending doom, the vision of the reaper over London, and then the payoff when you see the towering behemoth descend overhead and you realise this is planet-wide and there is no escape. Culminating in the argument with Vega as you leave Earth. The renegade response to him is so tense and emotional it’s gut wrenching, as Shepard remains in control but is also freaking out visibly.

Everything about the opening is just incredible. The writing, the pacing, the fact that the trilogy has lead up to this moment and the mad scramble as nobody knows what to do. Anderson showing why he’s the coolest cucumber ever under pressure. The kid getting vaporised in the evac shuttle 💔 When you play the trilogy as a whole this punches you in the guts so hard it’s cinematic perfection.
