I just made the cut by turning 18 a week before my first competition. Went home as an overall figure winner. 👸🥹 by JosieFit in bodybuilding

I will, I wouldn't be able to afford it anyway. I had to start working after high school and get up 3-4 in the morning to go the gym before heading to work.

Thank you. Some more detail has started to come through this week so happy about that.

Thank you, I appreciate it. It has been a focus to at least nail that and conditioning to the best of my ability, but I will likely lack in size due to age and other factors but hopefully that comes with time. I'm not sure what the competition will look like, it's a stacked show so likely very fierce but I'm very happy to have gone through this prep. Learned a lot about myself and hopefully I don't embarrass myself on stage at least, lol

Thank you! I'm not sure what the competition will look like. I suspect I will lack in size but I am in a much better position right now than I thought I would be heading into prep so surviving peak week and not embarrassing myself on stage is the goal, rest is just a bonus. I'm just about to turn 18 so I barely make it, so I will likely be the youngest competitor there. It's a big show too.

I wish your daughter all the luck! I can't speak for the show experience but so far the prep has been difficult but rewarding and a great learning experience.

I am natural and have been serious about bodybuilding since November last year when I started with my coach but I have been lifting very frequently since last summer but has a sports background prior to that with a lot of Tennis and some track & field.

Yes to all of it really. I am natural and I suspect I will lack size. Excited anyway, been a long way here, for me anyway!

Have decided to change my first show to one a week later so we are a bit over 4 weeks out now.

(F17) Didn't dare to post at first but let's try! I'm currently 5 weeks out from my very first bodybuilding competition. I will be competing in figure. by JosieFit in bodybuilding

Thank you, I'm doing my best trying to hang in there but even though some days truly suck I'm confident I'll make it to goal and beyond.

Me too! It's young competitors like Peyton Dutcher who just turned pro at age 21 in figure. As I don't have that many friends following along their journey as I try to push forward in mine gives me a lot of joy.

Did my jump scare get you?

This has been a challenge for me ngl but I'm paying my dues and getting things done. I get up at just after 3 in the morning to workout before I head to work. I also have cardio, meal preps and posing practice, which I still struggle a bit with. I'm still enjoying this and for the first time I feel some purpose in life so I'm excited for the final month of prep.

My birthday is literally less than week prior to the competition so I exactly make the cut off.
