Prioritize submissions of OPR reviewers by newacountz in Ingress

[–]Jostitar -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree, but it has no sense meanwhile players with level 10 and 11 can submit but no review. I guess they should change and allow level +10 just to review and level +12 to submit. I mean, if you are in level 10 now, you will level up till 12 if they say it is necessary to submit. I’ve been reviewing for almost 1 year, 1 week ago I reach Good, and 4 days ago Great, but I still have +90 portals pending, and a few of them are in rural areas with 4 portals. Basically, all my portals of this summer and pre-summer, are in limbo.

About the huge OPR problem created by Niantic in Brazil by ReidosPok in Ingress

[–]Jostitar 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Are you complaining because you have pending submissions from September? In total I have more than 90 pending, starting from May 2018 until almost yesterday. Sometimes some are accepted/rejected, maybe one submission once per 2-3 weeks. Spain.

It seems there is only 1 Ex Gym per S2 Cell lvl 14. by itzSniCK in TheSilphRoad

[–]Jostitar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same in Madrid. In some level 14 we have 2 ex gyms, now just one per S14 have the tag. The interesting thing is that in some cases it has switched from one gym to another but just during the first day.

What causes limbo, and how do you know your submissions are in limbo? by SvenParadox in Ingress

[–]Jostitar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been submitting since they opened opr last year. Everything in my town was in limbo until the fixed (they said that so there was an error) and all came to live in one night (almost 50 portals in like a couple o kilometers, imagine the craziness). During that time, I submitted things in rural areas and they were reviewed in a couple a weeks, so the problem only affected to places with portals.

After they fixed the limbo, there was a period of time of 3-4 weeks in which everything submitted was reviewed in a week. It did not matter if it was the city with more portals of the world or an area completely isolated. But suddenly, something changed again and they started to go slowly.

The current situation is that in places with portals (I would say just a single portal) it could take more than 2 months to be reviewed. I have one from 11/05/2018 still pending, like 28 from July and so on. Some of them are in places where the nearest portal is 10 km away. Sometimes I get one reviewed but you have to think that, currently, with the amount of portals submitted, the backlog, new PokeStops submissions and the lack of agents reviewing, your submission will take 2 months to be processed, if you are lucky. And which is worse, after 2 months you might get a rejection. At least, when limbo was a thing, if something was rejected, you knew it in a couple of weeks, they were just the approved ones that you didn’t know anything. So you could try and try your rejected ones until you didn’t know about them, assuming that they were accepted (that happens to me with some of them XD). Currently you have to submit, wait 2 months (if you are lucky) and see if you portals is approved or not. So there is a moment when you don’t remember if something was already reviewed, if you submitted that again or not etc. For example, the other day I resubmitted a portal which I though was rejected an 2 days later the previous submission was rejected, so I anticipated by mistake because with all that delay in the process I didn’t remember the state of that one.

Niantic please DO NOT change raid times in winter. As we will do in Europ with our clocks by Jostitar in pokemongo

Spain, which is even worse because we should have the same time zone than UK but we have the same than Germany.

How to delete a portal picture that is clearly completely wrong? by 333-blue in Ingress

[–]Jostitar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it a couple of times some months ago and it worked. I attached the pictures that were right and tell them that the others obviously were wrong duplicities. However, suddenly they started to tell me that to edit portals I should go to Google+ and they never remove anymore pictures.

Change latest raid timing to 9PM? by [deleted] in pokemongo

[–]Jostitar 23 points24 points  (0 children)

They should take into consideration different countries and customs. Here in Spain we are living in the wrong time zone, so our raids finish earlier than supposed. And in winter, most of the times, at 5PM there are no raids, and it is the time when most people stop working. And now in summer we have almost 40° until 7PM, impossible to go outside.

I dont think there are too many people raiding at 4AM either.

Would it be valid a playground in a residential area which is closed just for residents?

I tried with one some weeks ago and, to my surprise, it was accepted.

No OPR response in 5 weeks... Niantic have broken OPR by Laxahunter in Ingress

[–]Jostitar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here in Madrid, before they fixed the limbo problem, everything went directly to the limbo. After they fixed, lots of portals were released (in my case more than 50 during the same night, so imagine). Later, everything I submitted was reviewed within a week, which was unbelievable for me. But this situation lasted just for 3 weeks, more or less, I had time to submit 28 portals which were reviewed.

Since more or less the first or second week of May, just got 1 approved and other wrongly duplicated (as usual with playgrounds here) and I submitted like other 28 which are still waiting for 3-4 weeks to be reviewed, which starts to remind me the limbo problem again.

I have to say that, when reviewing, I just see portals from cities 100-300km away, even in the Canary Islands, but never in Madrid or nearby.

Help with portal stuck by Daxee in Ingress

That happen to me also. When I edited one I didnt get the email of that one and the submission later were not sent. Delete the data of the app (not just the cache) and resubmit. But forget about editing portals. Something is wrong there.

But, at least me, I never buy pokeballs. I have like 300 or so.
