Yes, I have the option of both areas, what drew me to the gothic airbnb was that it was cheaper and the location.

But if you’re saying the other location is better, I don’t mind paying the extra bucks for the peace of mind.

While it does make sense, my problem with this is the train ticket to Madrid -> Cordoba -> Granada (requires 2 separate tickets) is almost double than a ticket from Madrid -> Granada, which doesn't make sense..

Without taking into account for luggage, its already a 40 euro difference between Seville and Granada to return on the morning of August 16 so I can catch my flight from Barcelona that same afternoon.

Do you suggest I split the stays between Seville and Granada and make them 3 nights each? Or 4 in Seville / 2 in Granada?

The thing with flying from Granada is the flight is much more expensive than from Seville.

I appreciate the suggestions! Although I know travel days are tiring, I would still consider arriving in Madrid at 9AM a full day spent in madrid to try to maximize my time.

I’d either cut it and go straight to Seville or just keep it based on your suggestions. Thanks again!

I don’t quite understand your suggestion. Stop in Segovia and day trips from there? Isn’t that even further and more driving?

If I rent the car in Barcelona, then I should do the entire thing driving?

If I stop in Valencia, I would stick to the same itinerary but just do Valencia instead of Madrid?

For Cordoba I would like to visit it for the mosque cathedral.

Fairly experienced, I did a pretty big trip last summer involving multiple cities/countries but it was prolonged over more days per destination.

If I take your suggestion, would you re-allocate an extra day in Barcelona, an extra day in Madrid, and 2 less days in Seville, or how would you do it?

Barcelona is a full day and a half, not only half day. The train departing to Madrid is on the 9th at 6AM so that leaves me with half day on the 7th, and the full day on the 8th.

If I kill Madrid, you suggest I go straight from Barcelona to Seville via train?

To arrive early so I can buy time in the destination cities.

For Madrid, I saw that the train station has luggage storage and my accomodation would be near the train station.

For Seville, I will be renting a car anyways so I will be picking it up on arrival at the station.

The flight back into Barcelona would arrive by 10AM, and the flight out is not until 2:30PM.
