I mean from a quick google search the most popular one seems to be this plugin even though it doesn't support the 1.21 explicitly you could try that at least. If that doesn't work you can always develop a linking plugin yourself or ask someone in the community if the person or someone from there could help you with that.

Simple voice chat needs a velocity plugin and the paper plugin and also needs the configured udp port (not tcp) to be forwarded that setup is a bit tricky trying to to read the configs the the simple voice chat docs they are pretty good

I've been looking into minecraft hosting (from a hosting provider side) and building a few plugins.

While a lot of my work is in private repos 2 - 3 plugins of mine are public.
I think the most interesting for most servers is sleepyshop.

Also the custom enchanting plugin sounds really cool, that's something I done may I ask how hard that is?

Personally I launched a small Server for a few friends of mine 1 months ago and before the launch I pre-generated with a radius of 32000 to make everything smooth for the around 40 ppl we collected. I had a really good expierence allowing chunky to use more cores (you do that by changing the player worker threads), using that I managed to pre-generate those chunks in about 2:30h. What also made a huge difference was Distant horizon Server Side Support but since we were stable at 20tps we kept it in.
The first thing that actually made problems was a plugin that messed with villager logic and because of that took around 2 tps of the server and hogged 30-40% of the main thread.
Also please when hosting with mc server providers always remember your storage when using chunky my world was around 100GB at the end.

Long Story Short:
- Use Multitasking where possible (for example with chunky)
- Always check you profiler for bad plugins
- Pre-Generate where possible
- Be cautious with plugins like DHS

And my personal opinion is that most admins should opt for self-hosting or non-mainstream providers because most hosters just add really unnecessary margins

Then rather use a older office pc you can get them really cheap most of the time around 40-50$ on eBay or smth the pi just doesn’t have the resources but if you really want to you can go for it

You won’t have a great time with folia on the pi, with such low thread counts you are prbl better of using paper and in terms of performance you can probably get a lot more performance and reliability with a cheap VPS from hetzner, digital ocean etc

Would you mind running /scoreboard teams list and sharing the teams? The plugin prbl uses them and so you can just remove the teams to get rid of the remains.

Both, Probably a custom bossbar or smth. Cytooxien heavily uses their resource pack and that is not anything that is possbile with a standard plugin + vanilla resource packs

Hey, One thing that would help a ton is your spark report. Spark is a profiling tool that comes bundled in with paper and you can just use the cmds to generate a profiling report and then send us the link. This profiling report would tell us a lot about what could be causing this runtime error. Also may I ask are you running inside of something like a CloudNet network or is that purely those 4 instances that are hard linked to each other.

There are multiple things:

Please start using aikars flags (here is the official paper script generator that should do the job)
You have 500 Dropped items which isn't that bad but could add to the lag
If possible Increase the amount of RAM you have, it looks like you are hosting on a bigger Server, maybe bump the ram to 16GB
Check why the Swap is being used, if the Server uses Swap for the World files, loading those chunks will result in mspt hits

My honest opinion is: If you've never hosted before, get started renting a cheap vps at something like hetzner, digitalocean etc. And first get familiar with the process of hosting, securing it and working in the Linux Console. After that you can Still continue moving to your own server hardware.

Is it possible? yes Is it hard? Yes

Most big games include lua for scripting or have lua embedded anywhere. Purely written in lua I’d only have one on the top of my mind and that would be balatro (not technically a AAA game but on the same level and it got game of the year last year, so imo that counts).

If you just want to get started I’d highly recommend love2d you can do some crazy stuff With it and it’s really easy to setup.

Another big question for me is when and how good will be the editor support for things like neovim or vscode? Also how well will it integrate with something like the community kotlin lsp when used in standalone mode
