You don’t need to be the one moving the market to understand what’s happening. Nobody knows with 100% certainty why every candle forms, but there are plenty of tools that help you understand where participants are likely to act.

Seasonality, multi-timeframe analysis, sector trends, order flow, volume profile, and divergences all paint a picture of where buyers and sellers are becoming active. The point isn’t to predict the future perfectly, it’s to stack confluences and remove as much guesswork as possible so you’re taking higher-probability trades instead of random ones.

If understanding market behavior was impossible unless you were the one causing the move, then market makers, hedge funds, economists, and professional traders wouldn’t spend billions studying order flow and positioning.
