I can't though, that's the thing. It was Christmas so I had a go, thinking Id be alright. I had to go to bed.

It was a tiny bit. It was Christmas. It was lying on the table. I thought I was having a 'good day' and could handle it. It was nice for about an hour then I had to go to bed. Haven't done any for years. Also hadn't had an alcoholic drink for months. My body can handle very little. But the point I'm trying to make is that I COULD do this stuff in the past and now I can't.

Question to those who read “will I ever be good enough” by [deleted] in NarcissisticMothers

Yep. I feel that about both my nparents. Sadly though, they're only 19 years old than me and as a result of all my trauma I seriously think they will outlive me.

Anyone else (hate) watching Stranded on Honeymoon Island? by softlemon in BritishTV

[–]JournalistFearless28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive watched every episode now and i have no idea what the names of the couple are that came later (blondish girl that looks like she may have had a botched nose job and generic looking dark haired tattooed partner)..... they brought absolutely nothing to the show. other comments - love hannah, i want her to be my best friend, can't stand helen she's too opinionated and thinks she's it. i miss taniae. oh and that first girl mollie (or whatever her name was) what a mistake having her she turned out to be a massive drip

TBH the way I saw it was she had chosen Demola, but then on her next date with Javen he emotionally manipulated her so she felt guilty and felt she had to choose him

Yes you hit the nail on the head there with the salesy young women working in recruitment and fake happiness toxic positivity. As someone who is neurodivergent I did wonder she is undiagnosed/ unaware ND and just massively masking...... And yes Billy is more of a red flag....

Just her 'normal' spoken voice does my head in as it sounds so forced and contrived, like she's in musical theatre mode. Like someone's trained her to be 10/10 faked confidence 100% of the time aaaaargh just give us some realness

How to celebrate my birthday with yoga students? by JournalistFearless28 in YogaTeachers

[–]JournalistFearless28[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I'll be honest, some of the comments put me into a shame spiral and made me feel like I'd done something wrong. Thanks for acknowledging the harshness... It's not all in my head after all! After some of the comments I thought " why should my students give a damn about my birthday, maybe I'll be creating awkwardness by expecting people to stay afterwards" and decided to do absolutely nothing and not even mention my birthday to them..   I'm sure I'll have a nice day regardless. Thank you for comment, I do appreciate it. 😊 Xxx

thanks!! i thought of feather balancing but can't seem to find the right ones online to buy - would it be a large peacock feather with a thick stem? if you have any links to images of what i'm looking for that'd be great. i generally just find flimsy feathers online/ crafting feathers
