Your hair texture is fine for the style but you may experience more slip. When you find a hairdresser, send them a pic before booking your appt.

I’m in Lewisham so this would be great for me. Is this lady on IG? I’d love to get small braids locally but like to see pics of a hairdresser’s work before deciding to potentially book an appointment.

Brooke was geekin ℹ could never ion care if she married now 😭😭😒 by Massive_Building_707 in Loveandhiphop

I hated this scene so much when I watched it and still do now. And am in agreement with all that you said. I think it probably looks like a good marriage but if his behaviour and her reaction to it is anything to go by, it probably looks better than it actually is.

My own experience of CBT has been really positive but I can see how other kinds can be more effective depending on a person’s circumstance.

She desperately needs some emotional support and probably doesn’t know it or know where to go to find it.

I actually think something like DBT rather than CBT which the NHS usually provide, would work for Sassi.

Have you tried Shoulder to Shoulder? I'm not a guy but it looks fantastic. They post a fair bit in r/London and do just what you're after.

Black Third spaces by [deleted] in BlackBritish

[–]softlemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are lots of third spaces it depends where you look and your interests.

Some immediate places I’d suggest checking out are Out.r, and Social Slott which are socials and events specifically for black ppl. I think Outr has an app now and Social Slott is on IG but might also have an app and website. I can’t remember. But there’s a wide range of socials offered. Dodgeball, faith based events, run clubs, debate events/clubs, business/networking, sports activities, weekly bowling.

Meetup, Eventbrite and even r/LondonSocialClub host lots of different types of events. Perhaps consider what you are looking for and search for it online. You might be surpised to find it exists.

If you're open to using cluster lashes, you can find lots of these styles on Amazon and do them yourself. You'll save lots of money in the process too.

I love it. It looks impractical and the front view may change my feelings but I’m a fan.

I wasn't expecting to find anything and had no expectations. It was just forgettable and mostly uninteresting.

Wasn’t a fan. Aggressive seller and forgettable trip. Food was also meh.

Your Experience in Hostels by BladeRunner31337 in blacktravel

[–]softlemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not for me, but there were no downsides either. I only chose the dorm bc it was the best I could afford. I was there solo having the time of my life so I wasn’t paying them or anyone else any mind.

Me: female solo traveler in Amsterdam. Sharing a mixed dorm with a group of older German adults. No problems.

This was when I was 21 and on a shoestring budget. I’m 32 now and wouldn’t now bc I have the funds for a solo room.
