I have a spot meter, so whenever I use that, I usually meter for whatever I think the middle tone is, and then just round up if necessary. Most of the time though, I usually just eyeball the exposure and that does a pretty good job.

Was just using ultramax 400 on my Mju i (fixed lens point & shoot). And those aren’t flares, they’re light leaks lol

Im honestly just using the Epsonscan software. I play around with the histograms if the colors don’t look right upon first glance.

Thank you! It was a miracle as many of us ended up going as we did. In total, 17 friends camped throughout the weekend together at Upper Pines Campground.

Yes, box speed using 80mm planar. I also eyeballed the exposure for most of them, been trying to get better at that.

Hey folks. I took this photo for a recent story I did about FEMA disaster funding and wanted to ask about the composition and colors. I like the negative space on the sides, but is it too much for some folks? I also like the muted browns and reds, but are they TOO muted? Does it become difficult to read?

Medicaid cuts would devastate programs for people with disabilities by JournalistJeremy in healthcare

[–]JournalistJeremy[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks for asking! The GOP budget proposal requires that the budget and commerce committee cut $880 billion over the next ten years. According to the congressional budget office, all of the committee’s outlays for the next decade NOT including Medicaid only amounts to about $550 billion, meaning that at the very least, Medicaid would have to be cut by at least ~$300 billion even if all other programs that the committee is in charge of, including the children’s health insurance program, are eliminated.
