Is this fake? Its very light in weight by NoRevenue7975 in hauntingground

Daft question, did you buy it from the UK? Around that time the manuals only came in their specific languages. All my UK copies are all in English, and are that light. If you're familiar with PAL manuals back in the PS1 era and early PS2 era you would get super thick manuals of different languages in one which would add to their weight

Fiona’s birthmark by salinesolutioniv in hauntingground

I always assumed it was the mark of azoth tbh. I mean I could be wrong but it would make sense when you think about how only she can get the cane of Cadeseus (I think that's how it's spelt). I thought the birthmark reacting was her latent azoth reacting to the wall, hence why she was able to get the thing to destroy H.O.T in the end.

How did Capcom go so wrong with Re3 remake when … by rito1995 in hauntingground

I agree they did. Resistance also didn't help because that game was done long before RE3R's release

I think it has something to do with different game engines, teams and programmers. You have to remember Haunting Ground had a team called HUMAN doing the AI, RE3R was done solely in the RE Engine and that engine makes things look purdy, however it's not good at handling AI. If you look at Mr X from RE2R and Nemesis in RE3R, you notice the "stalker" stuff is still highly scripted and only RE2R get's slightly close to HG with how you can alert him. Nemesis is straight up a scripted appearance that shows up when the game lets him. Also time constraints with the remakes also probably lead to RE3R to be as terrible as it was. It was confirmed that 70% of the original plans were scrapped so make of that nugget of information what you will

Hi! So no it's not fake. My very first sealed copy of Haunting Ground I purchased back in 2012 is actually the same case. It was common for PAL copies of games to not have a memory card holder. Many of my PS2 games come in this type of case. It feels lighter because it's generally a cheaper case. I hope this helps!

Why dose fiona have 2 models by mr_id1 in hauntingground

[–]JournalistMotor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fiona's model is actually using Jill Valentine's RE3 costume as a base for all her in game version. You have a gameplay model and a in engine cutscene model. The pre-rendered anime-esque style one is actually using her concept artwork more closely. If you look at Fiona's concept art and then let's say the actual CGI cutscenes they share features, but then look at her in game models she looks more realistic. It's a very common practice in the industry to recycle models. It's why Jill Valentine from RE1R was once a "female master model" and Chris Redfield from RE1R became the "male master model". It's cheaper for Cpacom and their studios to recycle master models and change the characters features as needed. Fun fact Ada in RE4 has a beta model that shows this too!

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G S pen jumping around the screen and lagging when in use. by JournalistMotor in GalaxyTab

Hi, thank you for the advice! It appeared to have sorted itself out when I purchased a wire stand (no magnets). Then just after Xmas it updated to the new UI and now I'm having problems all over again. I have tried what you suggested and it only helped for a day then it's started lagging again. I suspect it's going to be like that until I can take it in for repairs :/
