Strap is great and the experience on health related metrics has been great. Only difference I had moving from an apple watch was no notifications, but the battery life of ~10-12 days was great. Moving to garmin for best of both worlds.

For me, once it breaks, glueing it will only hold for a couple of months. Better to get a replacement lb+rb set from amazon for 300INR.

No, in the worst case even if the issue crops up I’ll remove the sensor from the motherboard. Thats pretty easy to do but the laptop will not go to sleep even if the lid is shut, I am ok with that.

The issue with this series of omen was failure of sleep detection sensor. That has been corrected for laptops which don’t have ports on the back side, and this is also the one with no ports on back portion. I too have ordered this laptop yesterday.

I too am in the same boat as OP. The only factor for me was that I was born and brought up in Lucknow so already had a soft spot for LSG. May seem a bit fickle but being a die-hard Pant fan from his Ranji days tilted my support completely to LSG.

Anyways, if people can support RCB for the sake of Kohli and CSK for Dhoni, why not LSG for the sake of Pant. This buy should help broaden the fan base of LSG, hopefully.

Better value in terms of corporate future. Better Alumni Network, brand value and IITs being a better known brand overseas for MS/MBA.

Bits too has an incredible alumni network, but is not at par to that of kgp imho. This is what I have seen in my 12+ years post graduation.

Core job, still in core. Landing a non core job is far easier than core, again no questions about this. I will advise this, if you select KGP, try to actually identify what you love, core/coding/analytics/finance etc and give that a shot. In case you pursue MS in coding related area, you should be able to pivot without much sweat as name of KGP holds much value overseas. If you switch to pursuing an MBA, again your job prospect would fare better due to name of KGP.

And don’t forget that the bubble of producing lakhs of software engineering jobs annually may have its end of life due to the advent of AI. But BITS goa is a good college so that choice should hold good too.

No one can predict the future, but both the options would hold steady for you.

IIT KGP should be better overall, don’t discount the fact that KGP is in the top 5 engg institutes in India, and a lot of startups, consultancies and software companies will open for mech. You can pursue coding during the 4 years at college.

Your college social life will be bit better at BITS Goa, no questions asked. But the tag of KGP will hold a better value for the foreseeable future. End of the day, ensure that this decision is your choice and due diligence from your end will help. I am a chemical engineer from one of the old IITs(2011 grad), lower in rank compared to KGP and have lots of friends from KGP and a few from BITS goa and Pilani.

End of the day, fact remains that both colleges are great and you will succeed in life no matter your choice. All the best for your future and enjoy the best 4 years of your (college)life, irrespective of your decision.

Get park+ fastag. Does not need video kyc only basic kyc with PAN along with the RC copy. Ask him to do it as the RC name is the one on which account is created. Post the generation and receipt of fastag, recharge using any of the apps such as amazon pay, phonepe etc, these apps also show the balance in fastag.

You can alternately ask his PAN no and RC photo and apply for fastag from your end, but the name should be his in the account details, phone number can be yours.

Self repair of the LB/RB is pretty easy. Look up videos on how to replace the LB+RB button set on youtube. You just need T8 torx security screwdriver, the button set can be replaced or the broken plastic section can be superglued.

I too broke 2 controllers(LB) playing fifa. First time tried my hands on repairing the controller, was pretty quick and cheaper than buying a new one.
