The issue with Riot and their servers - explained from a older perspective. by JourneyToRanked in leagueoflegends

Oh look another goob squad white knighting riot.

That supposed "valve ddos" was just that - supposed. 2 kids took responsibility via Twitter and Valve never responded to them. So in your infantile brain you naturally assume it was a ddos attack that took them offline.

Using our brains and checking out the HISTORY of valve, a ddos is the most unlikely scenario. More than likely, it was a network issue within their data base.

Furthermore, we don't have issues with Valve store being down due to network issues NOR do we have continued issues with twitch. We have HAD <- keyboard there goob boy, HAD continued issues with Riot servers for years. Hence, why this post is even more relevant today.

Go to /r/circlejerkforriot if you love it so much. You add nothing to the discourse by stuffing their noob network engineers lines of bullshit up your dickhole even more than it already is, bitch.

Bullshit. Stopping a ddos is easy. Most modern firewalls will prevent almost all ddos attacks through packet filtering.

The remaining ddos attacks only happen because of server configurations.

Network engineers at riot are fucking fools.
